Ellie Broadman

Welcome

Thanks for visiting my website!

I am a (paleo)climate and environmental scientist with interests in numerous research topics and expertise in many varied field, laboratory, and data analytical methods. I recently began working as a Biologist for the Sequoia & Kings Canyon Field Station of the United States Geological Survey (USGS), where I will be working on research projects pertaining to forests of the southern Sierra Nevada. Stay tuned for updates on new projects with this awesome team!

Prior to joining the USGS, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Laboratory of Tree Ring Research at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and received my Ph.D. in Earth Sciences & Environmental Sustainability in 2021 from the School of Earth and Sustainability at Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona.

You can learn more about my scientific projects on my Research page. As you'll learn from browsing this site, I am also passionate about teaching, outreach, science communication, and diversity & inclusion in academia/STEM.
